How to be a great member of the PokeTrade community
In the world of Pokémon GO, we gather as a fellowship of trainers. These principles guide our trades, ensuring every exchange strengthens our community and honors the spirit of cooperation that makes this game special.
Trading Rules
Be Honest and Transparent
Ensure your listings are accurate and complete. Include honest descriptions of what you're offering. Update your listings promptly when Pokémon are traded or no longer available.
Communicate Clearly
Respond to messages promptly. Be polite and respectful in all communications. Use clear language to avoid misunderstandings. Good communication prevents conflicts and ensures smooth trades.
Respect Trade Agreements
Honor all agreed-upon trades. Backing out after an agreement damages community trust. Complete trades within the agreed timeframe. If circumstances change, communicate immediately and work together to find a solution.
Fair Value Trades
Make offers that reflect reasonable value. Don't lowball or try to take advantage of new traders. Fair trading benefits everyone and maintains a healthy community.
Community Guidelines
Resolve Disputes Amicably
If a problem arises, communicate clearly and calmly to try to resolve it. If an agreement cannot be reached, use the report system. Report real issues that moderators can take action on—not simply because someone doesn't respond quickly or you disagree on value.
Report Misconduct
Report any suspicious or fraudulent behavior to site moderators. When reporting, provide as much detail and evidence as possible including screenshots and chat logs. Help us maintain a safe trading environment!
Zero Tolerance Policies
No Real Money Trading (RMT)
All trades must be Pokémon-for-Pokémon only. We strictly prohibit any form of real money trading as it violates both our platform terms and Niantic's Terms of Service.
No Exploits or Cheating
Any Pokémon obtained through exploits, glitches, spoofing, or cheating are prohibited from trading. We maintain fair play and integrity for all community members.
No Harassment
Treat all trainers with respect. Harassment, hate speech, discrimination, or bullying will result in immediate moderation action.
